I've been making chutney from a recipe in an old book by Marguerite Patten
, called 500 Recipes for Jams, Pickles, Chutneys.
As you can see, these books are well used. We've made hundreds of jars of chutney over the years and they always turn out well.
Our favourites are Apple and Pear, Autumn Fruits, and the Green Tomato chutney.
